REFRIGERATION
In the 1920s, Swedish engineers Baltzar von Platen and Carl Munters invented absorption refrigeration, a groundbreaking cooling technology with no moving parts.
Their invention was patented in 1923 and later acquired by Electrolux, which began mass-producing the refrigerators. The innovation was so remarkable that even Albert Einstein called it a “stroke of genius.”
Now bringing professional-grade cooling
to your backyard.
